INVITATION TO TENDER

SUPPLY OF DIFFERENT MATERIALS FOR GICH LRP-II FOR SIMIEN MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK, DEBARK-ETHIOPIA.

1.    The African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) is an international conservation organisation working in large landscapes across the African continent. The organisation works to ensure wildlife and wildlands thrive in modern Africa through a multi-faceted approach to conservation strategies for wildlife, wildlands and people. The African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) is an international NGO registered in Ethiopia as a Charity by the FDRE Charities & Societies Agency license certificate No. 3319 in 2014 and, according to the country rule re-registered in 2019, with its office based at North Gondar Zone, Debark town and sub-office in Addis Ababa. AWF has been a conservation and management key partner of the Ethiopian Wildlife Conservation Authority (EWCA) in the Simien Mountains National Park since 2014.

1.1.    The African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) invites bidders from all interested suppliers to supply different materials organized in Lots for Gich LRP-II in Debark town, North Gondar, Ethiopia.
Lots are organized as follows as shown in section V: 
Lot 1: Grains & pluses purchase
Lot 2-Construction Materials purchase
Lot 3-Coffee beans & salt purchase
Lot 4-Dairy cows
Lot 5-Fodder ingredients material purchase
Lot 6-Refrigerators purchase
Lot 7-Dairy equipment & Health treatment tools
Lot 8-Working cloth & Sisal bag
Lot 9-Plastic Sacks. 
10-Weight scales.
11-Office furniture & shelf

1.2.  Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tender procedure contained in the Public Procurement and Property Administration Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia & AWF. A full application must be received by 5:00 pm on Wednesday 23rd of April 2025.

The full application comprises two parts:
I.    Qualification documents and
II.    Financial bids
1.3.   Bid opening will be done at 10:00 am on Thursday 24th, April 2025.

1.4.    Prices quoted should be inclusive of all taxes, must be in Ethiopian Birr and tender shall remain valid for sixty (60) days from the closing date of tender.

1.5.   Original and copy documents should be submitted in separate envelopes to the AWF office found in the Simien Mountains National Park office compound in Debark marked with the Tender name and reference number to be received on or before 5:00 pm on Wednesday 23rd April 2025.

1.6.    The qualification documents include:

I.    legible copies of Certificates of Registration, Renewed business Trade License, VAT, TIN.
II.    Availability of the company to sign the contract agreement should be within 5 days of the award letter. 
III.    Delivery period for each lot shall not exceed ten (10) consecutive days from the signing of the contract for each lot except Lot 4 & Lot 11. The delivery period for Lot 4 & Lot 11 shall not exceed fifteen (15) consecutive days from the signing of the contract.

1.7.   The financial bids will include:

        Fully priced financial proposal as per section V.

1.8.    Bid analysis:

      All bids received by the deadline above will be analyzed by the bid committee.
