Call for Tender: Installation of Solar Panels in Somalomo Dja Landscape

The African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) is seeking qualified and experienced contractors to undertake the installation of solar panels in its landscape in Somalomo Dja located in the Southeast region of Cameroon.


Project Background:
AWF is a leading conservation organization dedicated to protecting Africa's wildlife and wild lands. As part of its efforts to promote sustainable energy solutions in its project areas, AWF is looking to install a solar power system in its Somalomo Dja landscape to provide reliable and clean energy for its operations.


Scope of Work:
The contractor will be responsible for the following:
a)    Conduct a comprehensive site assessment to evaluate the solar energy potential and propose the optimal system design.
b)    Develop a detailed technical design, including the layout, panel specifications, inverters, and other system components.
c)    Install the solar power system, including the electrical wiring.
d)    Ensure the system is properly grounded and lightning-protected.

Site Visit:
Bidders are required to visit the Somalomo Dja field site to gain a better understanding of the project area. 
AWF will be responsible for transporting the vendors to Somalomo. The meeting point is Mbama, which is on the road leading to the East Region. Once the interested parties arrive in Mbama, AWF will pick them up and accompany them to the site in Somalomo.


Submission of Offers:
Interested contractors are invited to submit their proposals, including the following:
a)    Submission of a report after the field visit
b)    Detailed technical proposal outlining the system design, equipment, and installation methodology.
c)    Comprehensive financial proposal and payment terms.
d)    Company profile, including relevant experience and qualifications.
e)    List of similar projects executed, with references.
f)    Provides all necessary documentation and warranties.
