Stephen Golden spent many years at The New York Times Company, first as a journalist and eventually as a vice president. He served on boards of the 92nd Street Y and the New York Urban League, Manhattan. In 1999, he left New York for Tucson and law school. He practiced law for several years and is now retired. He spends his time with political and charitable work, is close to his law school, and serves on several local arts boards.
