People’s Trust for Endangered Species (PTES)

People’s Trust for Endangered Species (PTES) has been standing up for wildlife for over 40 years. With the help of scientists, conservationists, landowners, and the general public, they work to protect our delicately balanced ecosystem by bringing the most threatened species back from the brink. The PTES grant programmes support the very best scientific researchers and wildlife experts out in the field. The evidence they unearth guides worldwide conservation. PTES has supported AWF’s bonobo conservation work in the DRC, and in 2022 awarded AWF a new grant to protect Western Lowland Gorillas in Cameroon.
