The African Wildlife Foundation, a pan-African organization that works together with the people of Africa to ensure the wildlife and wild lands of Africa will endure forever, is pleased to partner with the Global African Investment Summit (TGAIS) the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and the Republic of Rwanda to indulge on issues pertinent to the future of a prosperous Africa

The world is coming to Africa because of the continent’s bountiful resources (30% of the world’s solid mineral reserves, 10% of the world’s oil reserves and 8% of the world’s gas reserves, with countries like Tanzania, Mozambique, Kenya, Uganda, and Ghana, continuing to discover more reserves.  And there exists potential opportunities in renewable energies—solar, wind, hydro and geothermal

But it is also the continent’s wildlife, a key and invaluable part of ‘brand Africa’ that the rest of the world admires and comes to experience and this largely contributes to African economies through Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and foreign exchange
