Servals lead solitary lives and come together in pairs only for a few days when the female is in heat. Two to four kittens are born per litter. Because the female raises the litter alone, she has to hunt frequently to feed them.

Wings4Wildlife, Inc.
The mission of Wings4Wildlife, Inc., a non-profit organization founded by Alan and Kim Parnass in 2003, grew out of a combined passion for African wildlife. By making an airplane and pilot available at no cost, Wings4Wildlife assists field research teams with their aerial surveys. Thanks to Wings4Wildlife’'s services, AWF conducted a critical hydrological assessment of Banhine National Park in Mozambique in 2006. In 2007 AWF mapped important wildlife corridors in and adjacent to Botswana’'s Chobe National Park so as to better understand animal movement in and out of the park. Wings4Wildlife’'s aerial surveys allowed AWF a cost savings in excess of $10,000.
