A Little Help Goes a Long Way
Manyara Ranch in northern Tanzania occupies a critical central location in the Kwakuchinja wildlife corridor between Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks and comprises a total area of 17,800 hectares (44,000 acres). Amidst the ranch (and its wildlife) was a 400 student elementary school, which actually served a whopping 800 students and also had not been repaired in over 20 years. Despite the overcrowded class sizes and the occasional wildlife disturbance, the students were ranked among the best performing in all of Tanzania. AWF has since relocated the school away from wildlife and we’ve built new classes and dormitories. Now we need your help to putting the finishing touches on the school. The children need pens and pencils, books, desks and other supplies. A small gift from you can go a long way for the children of Manyara Ranch School.
